Evergent joins the Bitmovin Innovators Network

Aug 27, 2024

Vienna, Austria, August 27, 2024—Bitmovin, a leading provider of video streaming solutions, announced today that Evergent, a customer management and monetization leader for streaming and digital subscription businesses, has joined the Bitmovin Innovators Network. The partnership will see Bitmovin and Evergent join forces to optimize subscriber churn prediction and manage subscriber promotions by integrating Bimovin Analytics with Evergent’s Monetization and Subscriber Management Platform.

This partnership will allow video streaming services to combine audience & quality of experience (QoE) data collected by Bitmovin’s Analytics with subscriber data managed by the Evergent platform. This combination brings new insights into subscriber churn risk, particularly where subscribers have reduced their engagement with a streaming service, or where they’ve experienced poor quality playback. In these cases, promotional offers could be made to encourage the subscriber to retain their subscription. Further, each viewing session can be analyzed for a subscriber using AI, this can surface insights into how engaged the subscriber is with the content and whether they had a good or bad streaming experience.

“Successful revenue optimization for video streaming services isn’t just about attracting new subscribers, it’s about retaining your existing ones and being able to accurately predict churn risks and quickly deploy churn retention tactics that keep customers engaged,” said Vijay Sajja, Founder & CEO at Evergent Technologies, “By teaming up with Bitmovin, we will combine our best-in-class solutions to provide our customers with intelligent insights that they can leverage to deploy a successful churn management strategy and maximize streaming profits.”

Bitmovin’s Analytics will be integrated with The Evergent Monetization and Subscriber Management Platform, which is used by world-renowned global digital media, entertainment, and telecommunications providers, helping them onboard over 800 million subscribers, scale across 180 countries, and deliver more than 3200 live events every year.
