Evergent Achieves TM Forum Open API Gold Certification, Expanding Interoperability and Agile Monetization for Telcos

Additional certified APIs for payments, product and promotion management advance subscriber management and accelerate revenue for operators

Sunnyvale, CA – October 15, 2026 – Evergent, a leader in monetization and subscriber lifecycle management for communication service providers, today announced it has achieved Gold status in TM Forum’s Open API Conformance Certification program, advancing from the Silver status earned in Q1 2026. The achievement further validates Evergent’s API-driven approach to helping telco and pay-TV operators modernize monetization, accelerate new revenues and enhance subscriber relationships.

“Operators need to act faster on new revenue and customer retention without being held back by the systems beneath them,” said Vijay Sajja, Founder & CEO of Evergent. “Standards and interoperability are central to making that possible. Achieving Gold status means Evergent works within the systems operators already run, using a common industry language instead of asking anyone to rebuild around us. We’re continuing to invest in standards-based integration so our customers can plug into open, agile infrastructure and quickly bring new services and personalized offers to market. The next few years will belong to those who can move fast.”

The achievement builds on Evergent’s experience delivering customer lifecycle management and subscription service growth across telecommunications, pay-TV and streaming markets. The company has onboarded over 1 billion user accounts across 180+ countries for organizations including Astro, AT&T, Sky, Sony Pictures, and the NBA.

Gold recognition follows conformance certification of three additional Open APIs: TMF676 Payment Management, TMF620 Product Catalog Management, and TMF671 Promotion Management. The newly certified APIs cover functions that support how operators manage their products and offers, administer promotions, and handle customer payments.

Standardized interfaces across these areas help simplify connections between Evergent’s digital monetization platform and operators’ existing business support system (BSS) environments, minimizing dependence on lengthy, bespoke integrations and speeding up time to market for new services, tailored promotions and adapted offers.

The TM Forum Open API Conformance program evaluates API implementations against standardized specifications designed to improve interoperability and portability across complex service provider ecosystems. Evergent’s progression from Silver to Gold builds on its earlier certifications and reinforces its commitment to open, standards-based architecture that supports modernization without requiring wholesale BSS replacement.

Evergent combines this cloud-native, API-first architecture with AI-enabled revenue orchestration tools for targeted promotions, churn prevention, and intelligent payment retries. Its approach enables operators to add digital monetization and engagement capabilities alongside existing infrastructure, helping them improve retention, grow revenues and reduce operational complexity without disruption.
