Evergent to Power User Management and Monetization for Media & Entertainment Customers on the Google Cloud Platform

Sunnyvale, Calif. – Sept. 13, 2017 – Evergent, a leading provider of cloud-based, user lifecycle management solutions for video service providers, today announced a collaboration with Google Cloud, bringing customers a Google Cloud-based subscription, billing and user lifecycle management software solution. As part of the collaboration, Evergent will provide subscription, billing, and user lifecycle management services for Google Cloud’s over-the-top (OTT) video streaming offering.

Through Evergent and Google Cloud’s collaboration, video companies and broadcasters worldwide can offer direct-to-consumer content with flexible pricing, packaging, and bundling options, including free trials, authenticated tv, subscription, transaction, and usage-based pricing.

Evergent currently works with some of the world’s largest media companies and provides carrier-scale subscription, billing, and user management capabilities and identity and device entitlement support. Evergent’s solution supports standard credit and debits payment and unique hybrid carrier billing, TV Everywhere, and App Store billing.
